Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of Dropoff.sh (the "Service"), operated by Bas Milius. By creating an account or publishing content you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Dropoff.sh lets you publish documents, diagrams, code, tables, diffs and files to unlisted URLs from your terminal. Free accounts and paid plans (Starter and Pro) are described on the pricing section of the home page. Content expires automatically on the Free and Starter plans; retention per plan is as stated there.
2. Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your tokens and password secret. You must verify your email address before you can publish. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you publish. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process and serve it so the Service can display it at its link. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you publish and for it complying with our Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Acceptable use and takedown
Prohibited content and conduct are listed in the Acceptable Use Policy. Anyone can report a page with the report link on it, or by emailing abuse@dropoff.sh. We operate a notice-and-takedown process: on a valid report or rights-holder notice (including copyright / DMCA notices) we may remove content, suspend an account or block an email or address, at our discretion and without notice where the content appears unlawful or harmful.
5. Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through our billing provider. You can cancel at any time; at the end of a paid period an account returns to the Free plan and its retention. Prices may change with reasonable notice; your existing plan is honoured for its current period.
6. Availability and warranty
The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or that content will be retained beyond your plan's stated retention. Keep your own copy of anything important.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of content or profits arising from your use of the Service.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time, which removes your content. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
